Notary Signing Agent (NSA)

Notary Signing Agent services are performed by a Notary Signing Agent (NSA), who is a specialized Notary Public. NSAs are trained, background screened, and certified to professionally facilitate the signing of real estate and loan documents.

Notary Signing Agent services by ADW Notary Service ensure real estate and loan closing documents are presented and executed correctly, notarized as required, and promptly returned to the title company for loan processing. Completing these critical steps enables real estate loans to be funded.

I am a certified Notary Signing Agent by the National Notary Association (NSA) and the American Association of Notaries. My certifications are renewed annually by examination. Participation in continuing education ensures that I remain current on legal updates and procedural changes within the multitude of title companies, mortgage companies, banks, and signing services within the industry.

Loan Signing Agents handle sensitive documents containing personally identifiable information, commonly referred to as PII. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a federal regulatory agency, requires lenders to follow strict standards when handling PII, including borrower information on loan documents. To meet CFPB standards and maintain my NSA certifications, I am required to annually pass rigorous background screenings.
